Care of Women is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, as well as prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire date
  • Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials highly preferred
