Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team at Goshen Health. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care services in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in providing patient care services, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing routine medical procedures.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited career/vocational school with a medical assisting (MA) degree, certificate, or diploma, or completion of basic or advanced EMT or Paramedic course.
  • Active CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification or EMT/Paramedic certification required.
  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the Indiana Health Professions Bureau (if applicable).
  • One or more years of experience in a physician office setting (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current American Heart Association CPR certification.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
