This tenure-track position will focus on educating and supporting elected and assistant clerks of superior courts in matters related to decedents' estate administration, trusts, and special proceedings involving real property and motor vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for clerks, enhancing their understanding of probate matters.
  • Produce scholarly work tailored for North Carolina's clerks, including contributions to the Clerks of Superior Court Manual Series and relevant blogs.
  • Collaborate with the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts and the Conference of Superior Court Clerks.
  • Engage with faculty members to foster a collaborative educational environment.
