Production Technician

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at BlueTriton Brands. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality products, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain production equipment, including fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, and forklifts.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities, quality inspections, and record equipment downtime and production output.
- Adhere to safe work practices, good manufacturing practices, and participate in safe behavior observation programs.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including efficiency, production, and downtime.
- Ensure quality products are sent to customers by completing hourly quality checks and inspecting raw materials against quality standards.
- Interact with team members from various departments, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and participate in shift, team, and plant meetings.
- Cross-train in other areas to support operations during downtimes and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Prior experience in clean manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to work the scheduled shift, including start-up and handover meetings.
- Exposure to high-speed production and/or basic maintenance is preferred.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus.
- Forklift experience is preferred, but we are able to train new associates.
