Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the check-out area, shopping cart and box storage areas, and other designated areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, as well as maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other sales associates and management to achieve store goals and objectives.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment, responding to changing priorities and customer needs.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Availability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40-50 pounds, and walk up and down stairs.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation:
Part-time sales associates at Binny's Beverage Depot are paid $16.25+ per hour, based on experience and availability.
