Columbia, South Carolina, United States Tri-Cities Communtiy Health Full time
About Us

Tri-Cities Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has been providing quality, accessible healthcare to migrant and farm workers in their community since 1981. Our mission is to provide comprehensive primary care services to the underserved populations of Pasco, Kennewick, Richland, and the neighboring cities.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including dental care, optometry, pharmacy needs, behavioral health, and endocrinology. Our spectrum of services is continually expanding as our community grows. We also provide vital social services like WIC and Maternal Support Services, and we deliver prescribed medication directly to patients' doorsteps.

Opportunity

We are seeking passionate, driven Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Care Team within the Richland Primary Care site. Our LPNs work under the direct supervision of an authorized healthcare practitioner, enabling them to administer medications and perform treatments or procedures without the presence of a registered nurse or other authorized healthcare practitioner on the premises.

Responsibilities

Our LPNs will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, assisting physicians or healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures, communicating between patients and external providers regarding test results, medical records, and/or patient care, and maintaining departmental supplies and inventory. They will also be responsible for administering medications, injections, and blood draws as directed by physician or provider, performing and assisting with aseptic and sterile procedures, and participating in the performance and completion of quality assessment techniques.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience, a current Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse certification, and a current and maintained AHA BLS certification. Proficiency in English and another language (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, or other) is preferred.

Why TCCH?

At Tri-Cities Community Health, we are dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of others while keeping pace with our rapidly growing community. We offer flexible scheduling, excellent benefits, and a fulfilling work-life balance that allows you to embrace the 300 days of sunshine the Tri-Cities has to offer. As a healthcare professional with TCCH, you'll be a part of a collaborative team focused on providing comprehensive care to the underserved and underinsured populations of our community - creating meaningful, generational change.
