As a Clinical Pharmacist and Faculty member, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the academic mission of the University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Antithrombosis Clinic, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services and programs in the clinic.
  • Participate in the education and training of pharmacy students and residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Stay current with advances in clinical pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy practice, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
