Career Opportunity: Lead Registered Nurse
The State of Montana is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care at our facilities.
As a Lead Registered Nurse , you will play a crucial role in supporting clients and fostering a therapeutic environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing nursing services, providing immediate assistance during critical situations, and facilitating problem-solving and decision-making processes.
In addition, you will coordinate investigations into unusual incidents, manage patient grievances, and supervise nursing staff and patient care services. This position also offers a shift differential and includes one meal per shift.

Qualifications for the Role
- Proficient knowledge of nursing practices, medications, and treatment planning.
- Familiarity with rehabilitation techniques for psychiatric conditions.
- Understanding of professional healthcare standards and facility operations.
- Experience in personnel management and supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence in using nursing assessment tools and equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to apply critical thinking in emergency situations.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to health information regulations.
- Capacity to build and sustain effective working relationships.
- Analytical skills to evaluate information and determine optimal solutions.
- Minimum qualifications include:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Montana
- Preferred: Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
