Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Supervisor will provide oversight and guidance to Associate Social Workers (ASWs) and Marriage and Family Therapists Interns (MFTIs). Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Director with quality assurance and program development for social services.
- Delivering emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling to patients and families facing challenges related to hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma.
- Conducting psychosocial assessments and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation for all social service consultations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. OR a Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Current state license upon hire and maintenance of licensure.
- Completion of criteria to supervise ASWs or MFTIs as per State Regulatory Board.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting, with a focus on mental health care.
- Experience working with diverse populations and a range of issues, including chronic illness and substance abuse.
Preferred:
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire and maintenance of certification.
St. Francis Medical Center offers a competitive compensation structure, with a reasonable estimate for this role ranging from $33.00 to $50.40 annually, based on various factors including experience and qualifications.
