Role Summary: The Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager (ITIM) for AI Leases is a pivotal role requiring strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. We are looking for an ITIM who can work independently and possesses a solid background in Data Center Construction and Fit-out projects, particularly in passive telecom infrastructure and construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the program management of all integration and technical infrastructure fit-out activities linked to Microsoft-owned systems and services, ensuring critical infrastructure is installed in new data center builds or leased facilities.
  • Identify and manage scopes and interdependencies among all stakeholders, coordinating efforts with physical construction teams and general contractors.
  • Facilitate the handover process, ensuring all necessary documentation and expectations are met for transitioning the space to Operations teams and business units.
  • Develop and manage project plans, executing major milestones and overseeing financial approvals and management functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in Data Center construction project management or similar IT build-outs.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT fit-out or construction-related project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in Safety Management on construction or fit-out projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI (Project Management Institute) – PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
  • BICSI RCDD or similar Telecommunications Design/Installation experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing large-scale data center projects with both localized and virtual teams.
  • Client or contractor-side data center construction or management experience.

Accountability and Communication: The ITIM will be responsible for developing, managing, and reporting on safety, scope, schedule, and budget in relation to integration projects. Regular reviews of cost and KPI metrics will be conducted, along with coordination of meetings and activities among vendors and project teams.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safe worksite and support the implementation of the Microsoft High Risk Activity (HRA) program.
  • Coordinate internal Microsoft scope and resource efforts with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure a seamless handover of the fitted-out Data Center facility.
  • Work closely with the Data Center Engineering team and specialty consultants to enhance and execute design plans.
