McLean Hospital seeks a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to lead our inpatient team on the behavioral health unit. As a Clinical Team Lead, you will provide clinical services to a team of patients, oversee day-to-day operations, and participate in team rounds and meetings.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
- Provide clinical services to a team of patients, including documentation and treatment planning
- Participate in team rounds and meetings to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
- Oversee appropriate medical care and communicate with referring sources and primary care physicians
- Meet with families for clinical discussions as needed
- Attend program and hospital administrative meetings
- Comply with all hospital clinical and administrative policies
- Participate in utilization management, risk management, and quality assurance activities
- Provide supervision of medical trainees and nursing trainees
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school
- Two years of clinical experience as an APRN in behavioral health settings
- A current, active, unrestricted licensure as a Massachusetts NP with prescriptive authority
- Board certification in psychiatric/mental health nursing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
