Job Summary:

The Director of Rehabilitation is a key leadership position at Reliant Rehabilitation, responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation department and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the rehabilitation department, including staff scheduling, training, and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives, aligned with company-wide initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the regional director of operations and human resources to achieve departmental and company-wide objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with facilities, referral sources, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and growth.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a degree in physical, occupational, or speech therapy from an accredited school.
  • Must hold a current and active license as a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistant, or speech-language pathologist.
  • Must have at least two years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English.
