  • Prepare solicitation lists and emails, and make follow-up telephone calls to prospective advertisers. Coordinate space reservations and placement, billing, and sending publication samples to advertisers.
  • Prepare and mail "Thank You" letters to advertisers along with tear sheets or a copy of the conference program.
  • Update and maintain current website pages associated with the Development Department.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Development Team on HACU Alumni initiatives.
  • Answer telephone calls and provide information to callers or route calls to the appropriate official. Make outgoing calls on behalf of the department.
Requirements
  • Associate degree
  • 1 year minimum related experience and/or training is required.
  • Previous work with Development, Fundraising, and/or Marketing is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, WordPress, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge of Raiser's Edge technology and/or other database management systems is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical computations and concepts such as making changes, calculating percentages, applying discounts, basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Strong networking skills to engage with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
