Clinical Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at CoreCivic. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical department, ensuring the highest quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage nursing and non-licensed healthcare providers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing practices, ensuring compliance with facility and corporate policies.
  • Provide direct patient care, applying appropriate nursing skills and knowledge to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a diploma or degree in nursing.
  • Current licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, with one year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong knowledge base of clinical nursing and management principles.
