About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Manager to join our Group Audit team in North America. As a Senior IT Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of IT & Operations risk-based audits, providing subject matter expertise, and driving the development of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Functional and Regional Audit Executives to perform risk assessments and develop audit plans.
  • Oversee and manage IT & Operations risk-based audits, ensuring quality, time, and budget requirements are met.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and insight across audit processes, including scoping, audit reports, and critical stakeholder meetings.
  • Support the global IT Centre of Excellence to evolve IT capabilities in Group Audit and drive team development through upskilling initiatives and technical knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Identify trends and themes in results and support influencing key stakeholders in broader actions and reporting themes to Group and local executives and Audit Committees.
  • Build technical and commercial knowledge and industry awareness across a range of areas by accessing diverse resources and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Business Audit Leaders in stakeholder discussions and develop strong and influential peer relationships with Business and IT stakeholders.
  • Oversee the performance of team members assigned and take necessary actions to support their development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years of experience in Audit or Finance, or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in auditing IT, and 2-4 years holding senior roles at a Senior Manager level, or 10+ years in IT management or IT Risk Management at a VP/Director level or equivalent.
  • Significant knowledge and competence across all IT domains paired with data analytics skills.
  • Experience in third-party, outsourcing, and project management auditing.
  • Experience in the Finance Industry, specifically Insurance, is an advantage.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to organize teams, prioritize tasks, guide, and coach the team to deliver on time to high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and take decisions autonomously, subject to verification.
  • Experience within complex, global organizations and virtual teams, as well as outsourced services.
  • Ability to influence teams and senior management executives.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused, flexible, persistent, and results-oriented mindset.
  • International work experience.
