Medical Registrar

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registrar to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate patient registration, verifying insurance coverage, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Interview patients to obtain all necessary account information and verify insurance coverage
- Ensure charts are completed and accurate, and process patient charts according to established productivity standards
- Verify insurance benefits and determine pre-certification/authorization status via online or other resources
- Secure all necessary signatures for treatments, release of medical information, assignment of insurance benefits, and payment of services
- Understand and explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment of account
- 1 year of related experience preferred
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
