Pediatric Skilled Nursing Opportunity

The Kidz Club PPEC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of passionate healthcare professionals. As a key member of our pediatric skilled nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with medical complexities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients, utilizing a holistic approach that considers their educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, therapists, and family members, to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Work closely with a Registered Nurse to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current LPN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
  • Recent graduate with a provisional license.
  • Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems.
  • Preferred: Six months of experience as a practicing LPN with pediatric experience, current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD), and current CPR (Basic Life Support).
