Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve quality.
  • Support the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including process flow diagrams and work instructions.
  • Conduct equipment qualifications and create programs for various manufacturing equipment.
  • Review and analyze key metrics to drive corrective actions and improve process efficiency.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal staff to resolve manufacturing-related issues.
  • Support new product quoting process by reviewing customer-supplied data and creating assumptions related to establishing a production process and estimating product run rates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related degree.
  • No experience is required, but at least one year of related work experience OR a combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools for problem-solving, including statistical methods, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and their application to a manufacturing process is preferred.
  • Knowledge of surface mount technology assembly processes, methods, and equipment and/or high-level assembly experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of quoting, process design, tooling design, or equipment programming.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 standards is strongly preferred.
