We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Firehouse Subs. As a Shift Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the profitable operation of our restaurant during your designated shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs policies and procedures.
  • Profitability: Operate shifts within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture and mission.
  • Game Plans and Initiatives: Assist the General Manager in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
  • Employee Management: Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the General Manager.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and accomplished on schedule.
  • Public Safety Foundation: Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Professional Representation: Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner at all times.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively to the General Manager/Owner any and all issues that may impact our business.
Requirements
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft software and register skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts. Ability to be mobile in walk-in freezer/cooler with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.
