Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. This role requires excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application, as well as a detailed understanding of applicable industry codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Manage engineering tasks as assigned by supervision, applying engineering principles.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, adhering to proper configuration management and standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
- For Entry Level E01 Engineer - New Graduate:
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- For Mid-level E02 Engineer:
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- For Senior E03 Engineer:
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Database Management.
- Project Management.
- Strong Chemistry, coatings, or materials background.
- Knowledge of PWR systems.
- Chemistry or Chemical Engineering background preferred.
The salary range for this position is:
- Entry Level - $72K - $80K.
- Mid-Level - $88,200 - $108,000.
- Sr Level - $115,200 - $141,000.
These ranges are based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
