We are currently seeking a Full-time Title Clerk. This role is essential for managing the transfer of titles from sellers to buyers.

The Title Clerk is accountable for the meticulous handling of all documentation related to titles to ensure compliance with DMV regulations.

This position demands a commitment to superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely, accurate processing of titles from sellers to buyers and manage all in-house titles prior to sale day.
  • Oversee the ordering, processing, filing, copying, correcting, and mailing of titles with precision.
  • Responsible for sending title lists to dealers via fax.
  • Maintain a log of all title numbers in the AS400 system.
  • Manage seller checks in exchange for completed titles and obtain signatures of receipt.
  • Communicate with dealers regarding title readiness and overdue titles.
  • Welcome dealers and provide assistance as needed.
  • Handle phone inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Manage front counter operations and process payments after sales conclude.
  • Compile reports following the completion of sales.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
