Job Responsibilities:
We are in search of a seasoned Superintendent with expertise in safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy machinery and equipment using various rigging tools.
Ideal candidates will have a background in managing teams responsible for rigging operations on large-scale general contracting industrial and heavy commercial projects.
A background as a Union Ironworker, Millwright, or Boilermaker Journeyman is preferred.Candidates must possess strong mechanical reasoning skills.
Proficiency in mathematical applications, weights, measurements, and balance is essential.
Ability to assess loads, perform calculations, and develop lift plans is required.
Familiarity with current industry standards and regulations regarding rigging mechanisms and devices is necessary.
Experience in positioning and preparing cranes and necessary lifting devices is expected.
Capability to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations is crucial.
Familiarity with the latest industry technologies is a must.
Experience in managing multiple crews is essential.
Ability to complete electronic daily reports (timesheets, work logs, JSAs, PTPs, productivity tracking, budget reviews, QAQC reviews, etc.) is required.
Flexibility with scheduling, willingness to travel, and ability to work overtime are necessary.
Experience in managing large-scale general contracting industrial and heavy commercial projects is required.
Excellent organizational skills are a must.
A current CPR/AED certification is required.
A 30-hour OSHA training certification is necessary.
