Climate Control Technician

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Climate Control Technician to join our team at Tradesmen International in Cleveland, OH. As a Climate Control Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal climate control within commercial buildings by installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Explain HVAC system operation to customers and guide them in using their systems efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other tradespeople on job sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer, preferably in residential or commercial settings.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and units.
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to HVAC installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in varying weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC certificate program is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
