Job Summary:

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Space Systems Engineering Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our program, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our satellite systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of our programs, and your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with program leadership to facilitate meetings and ensure effective communication
  • Assist engineering leads in the onboarding and integration of new staff members
  • Support program activities and contribute to team success
  • Support Satellite daily operations
  • Attend meetings and other functions as requested
  • Compile and/or assist in preparation of various documents, to include but not limited to presentations, reports, correspondence, and other materials
Requirements:
  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school or Military and/or Intelligence Agency training) and a minimum of 6 years of relative experience organizational groups
  • Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience working on Defense or Intelligence Agency Satellite technologies and/or ground control systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Tools, to include but not limited to: Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and/or Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with senior leadership on large teams
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, preferably present information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Prior experience training team members
