A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to lead the Product Line of ABB's Low Voltage Busway offering. As a key member of our Distribution Solutions Division, you will be responsible for driving the long-term profitable growth and marketing of our products to target market segments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the product business plan to support sustainable growth, including technical and market specifications.
- Lead the life cycle management process, analyzing current product performance, defining and tracking metrics, and making decisions on product obsolescence and end-of-life.
- Set targets and monitor product costs, providing inputs to Operations to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
- Define product customer value proposition per segment and channel, ensuring clear communication to channels and users.
- Ensure correct pricing is applied for all countries and products, developing and maintaining a global reference list price structure.
- Initiate and drive cross-functional and cross-organization product and solution innovation teams, monitoring development of standards and market trends.
- 4-year degree in engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in product management, product marketing, or adjacent product functional roles.
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Unrestricted availability for international travel.
- Strong team building and networking capability, assertiveness, and ability to work in a virtual team.
