Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily communication with the Executive Pastry Chef regarding production schedules and menu planning.
  • Oversee the decoration and presentation of customized desserts and cakes for special events and catering needs.
  • Assist in inventory management by ordering necessary supplies and ingredients for the bakery operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven management and supervisory experience in a food service setting.
  • Experience in high-volume bakery production and maintenance of baking equipment.
  • Ability to effectively train and work with college-age students in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Expertise in baking techniques, including bread making and cake decorating.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, at a professional level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced supervisory experience in a high-volume bakery.
