Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer and Manager of Risk Contracts to join our team at North Carolina Community Health Center Association. This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of finance department, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, GAAP regulations, and relevant laws.
  • Development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervision of staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Collaboration with other departments, including Risk Management, to ensure effective management of risk contracts.
  • Financial modeling and analysis to support business development and revenue growth initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field, with MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting in not-for-profit organizations, with prior managed care experience in healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of success in financial leadership, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to present complex financial information to senior management and Board of Directors.
