As a Cycle Instructor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating cycling classes, providing instruction on fitness and safety, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and challenging cycling classes that cater to diverse fitness levels.
  • Ensure participants are using equipment correctly and safely, providing modifications and adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cycling area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to participant inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Recreation Supervisor to schedule classes and activities, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Adhere to administrative tasks, including clocking in and out, finding substitutes, and communicating with the Fitness Supervisor.
  • Foster open communication with participants, supervisors, and staff, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require walking, bending, cycling, and standing.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor work environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
  • May require working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation

$30-$35 per hour.
