Job Summary:

The Fleet Field Grounding Assembly Tester will be responsible for safely driving to and from various job sites in different areas.

The primary responsibility consists of maintaining annual inspections and testing of the ground assemblies on company Overhead, Underground, and Transmission equipment.

The Fleet Field Grounding Assembly Tester will also be responsible for maintaining a working inventory of company ground assemblies to support field operations during testing in various locations and in multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works safely while performing ground assembly inspections and testing in the field.
  • Works safely while inspecting and testing grounds in house.
  • Maintains company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working conditions.
  • Able to climb up and down on trucks safely.
  • Understands operation of heavy equipment.
  • Possess a basic knowledge of materials used in fleet transportation.
  • Must be able to obtain a commercial driver's license.
  • Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position.

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, team-members may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.
