Job Summary:

This is a key position in the accounting department responsible for:

  • Month-end closing and financial statement preparation
  • Account reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Supporting business operations and financial planning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly financial close functions and compile financial information
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Assist with preparing PBC lists for year-end audits and perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation
  • Recruit and hire accounting and financial staff and conduct performance evaluations
  • Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staff
