Opportunity for an Intensive In-Community Therapist at Wellness Meets World

Wellness Meets World is seeking a qualified Intensive In-Community Therapist (IIC) with LPC/LCSW credentials to enhance our dedicated team. We invite applications from Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Psychologists, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists who are in good standing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver in-home therapeutic support to youth aged 5-21 and their families.
  • Conduct comprehensive Biopsychosocial (BPS) evaluations to determine appropriate care levels.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions in accordance with agency standards.
  • Provide therapeutic services in the youth's home or community, customized to meet family needs.
  • Ensure prompt completion of all necessary documentation.
  • Exhibit proficiency in addressing the diverse needs of clients from various backgrounds.
  • Engage in supervision sessions and collaborative client care meetings.
  • Uphold confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA, ethical guidelines, and agency policies.
  • Offer crisis intervention as needed.
  • Empower youth and their caregivers with strategies to effectively manage behaviors and improve family dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the child-family team, including behavioral assistants, mentors, psychiatrists, and other relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of full clinician licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW).
  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
Preferred Specializations/Skills:
  • Trauma-informed therapy.
  • Expertise in addressing racial trauma.
  • Experience working with youth with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Background in treating individuals with substance use challenges.
  • Specialization in managing sexualized behaviors.
  • Knowledge of LGBTQIA+ issues.
  • Expertise in parenting strategies.
