Role Overview:
The Outpatient Dietitian will play a pivotal role in leading the healthcare team to address the nutritional requirements of patients and residents. This position involves conducting nutritional screenings and assessments to collect pertinent data regarding individual dietary needs, formulating personalized nutritional care plans, and overseeing the management of care tailored to each patient's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nutritional care strategies for patients across all age groups, including neonates, children, adolescents, geriatrics, and those in palliative care.
  • Exhibit resilience and adaptability in high-pressure situations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in meeting deadlines.
  • Effectively engage with a diverse range of individuals, managing stressful scenarios and resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Fulfill all assigned duties and responsibilities while adhering to the regulations and protocols established by relevant licensing boards and agencies.
  • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures of Benefis Health System.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in coursework accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Dietitian.
  • Engagement in continuing education to maintain registration status.
  • Possession of a Montana license or eligibility for licensure is required.
