Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am - 1:30pm
Location: Various School sites within the district
Compensation: $19 per hour

Our curriculum focuses on promoting physical, mental, and academic health through engaging activities. Elevo extends learning beyond the classroom, fostering growth and movement for children in grades K-8.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate structured games and activities based on the Elevo curriculum.
  • Engage students in sports and recreational activities.
  • Support behavioral management needs of children.
  • Collaborate effectively with school staff and fellow facilitators.
  • Lead outdoor lessons that inspire excitement for learning.
  • Act as a positive role model, enhancing students' self-esteem and emotional health.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
  • Ability to manage groups of up to 20 students independently.
  • Capable of improvising and adapting to various situations.
  • Approachable, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to build trust with children.
  • Exhibit confident leadership and serve as a positive influence.
  • Foster positive learning experiences and connect with students.
  • Pay attention to student needs and adjust activities as necessary.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient operation of activities within designated timeframes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and completion of a background check.
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, or child development preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Willingness to adhere to health protocols as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to move frequently to accomplish tasks.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional running and engaging in physically demanding activities.
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain safely.
