Job SummaryThe Mobile Care Services team at WakeMed handles over 19,500 ground transports annually. We operate a fleet of 24 ground ambulances and provide medical transport 24 hours a day. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will provide patient care and operate an ambulance as part of our critical and non-critical transport program.
Responsibilities- Provide BLS patient care and document conditions as needed
- Clean and maintain ambulance equipment and work areas
- Perform routine daily inspections and preventive maintenance of ambulances
- Other duties as assigned
- 1 year of clinical experience as an EMT
- 1 year of experience in emergency vehicle operations (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate in Emergency Medical Science or Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Science
- EMT-Basic certification or higher
- Maintain vehicle operator insurability
Weekends: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, Friday - Sunday
Every weekend
