About the Job:

The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment failures.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment, replacing parts, and cleaning machines.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Teamwork: Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and support production goals.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training is a plus).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
