We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize markers and equipment to produce high-quality radiographs.
- Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of exams and produce high-quality films.
- Understand and properly use CR, PRID, ADC Multiloader, and QS workstation.
- Write complete patient histories for radiologists.
- Utilize PACS with few errors.
- Demonstrate overall efficiency of work and time.
- Assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure and make appropriate physician contact.
- Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
- Multitask in several areas.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of radiographic procedures and equipment. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
