Job Description

Big Lots is seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our identity management and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement identity management and access control solutions to ensure secure access to company resources.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide level one and level two support for identity management applications.
  • Develop and maintain system identity and access models, plans, diagrams, and procedures.
  • Participate in user review, verification, and testing sessions.
  • Analyze internal processes and suggest improvements.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and train them through formal and informal training programs.
  • Perform required audits to satisfy regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • College degree in Computer Science, technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Identity and Access Management across four or more applications, including at least 2 years of SAP security experience.
  • Experience practicing SAP security in a retail environment preferred.
  • Experience with SailPoint IdentityNow and Access Risk Module preferred.
  • Proficiency with security configuration, role design and maintenance, and user role mapping required.
  • Ability to translate user needs into requirements documents and coordinate testing, implementation, and training.
  • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems as they relate to Identity and Access Management and provide resolutions.
