Job Summary

  • Assist with procedures, including acting as a chaperone for healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and clean patient examination rooms, unit areas, and equipment.
  • Answer telephones, forward messages, and schedule appointments and procedures.
  • Assist with routine clerical functions, including filing medical information and entering charges for billing purposes.
Requirements
  • Verifiable completion of a state-approved EMT course, one year of Medical Assistant experience, or a Medical Assisting education program.
  • Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
Working Conditions
