School Psychologist Job Description

A school in the United States is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in School Psychology and an active State Psychology License.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of referred students and provide recommendations for appropriate school programs.
  • Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team and Child Study Team meetings to support teachers and staff in developing plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Attend Individualized Education Program and other planning meetings to ensure student needs are met.
  • Provide group and individual therapy sessions to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices is preferred.
  • Masters in School Psychology and active State Psychology License are required.

Employment Details:

  • Full-time, contract employment.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
