Compensation:
$25 - $30/hour

Position Type:
Direct Hire with Benefits. This is a permanent role.

Work Schedule:
3rd Shift, 12-hour shifts: 7pm-7am. Overtime is required. The 3rd Shift alternates between Week 1 and Week 2.

Week 1:
Mon/Tues/Sat/Sun and Week 2: Wed/Thurs/Fri. Enjoy every other weekend off. Shift hours are from 7pm to 7am.

Additional Compensation:
$1,000 Signing Bonus and $500 Referral bonuses available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and rectify machinery issues. Conduct preventive maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults.
  • Execute assigned projects (machine relocations, modifications, installations; material handling; workspace improvements, etc.)
  • Support the training of fellow maintenance staff and production team members.
  • Ensure job functions enhance or maintain product quality.
  • Carry out Preventative Maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Complete work orders efficiently and within deadlines.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Background:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • Preferred: Advanced education (associate degree) in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Highly preferred: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems ranging from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Collaborates effectively in a team setting and completes projects timely with acceptable quality.
  • On-the-job or classroom training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, welding, and mechanical skills.
  • Experience operating Hilift/Forklift and ability to obtain certification.
  • Training in Quality Management Systems and Environmental Systems.
  • Must be capable of working in a manufacturing environment, involving standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
