About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a company poised for significant growth. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support the company's growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  3. Manage the preparation and submission of all financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
  4. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective financial management.
  5. Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team, supporting key business decisions and initiatives.
  6. Lead the company's IPO process, including preparation of necessary documentation, liaison with investment bankers, legal advisors, and auditors.
  7. Manage investor relations, including communication with existing and potential investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
  8. Oversee the company's treasury, tax, and risk management functions.
  9. Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  10. Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  3. 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in the medical device or life sciences industry.
  4. Experience in taking a company public, with a deep understanding of the IPO process and SEC reporting requirements preferred.
  5. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  6. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies and manage financial operations.
  7. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop talent.
  9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with investors, board members, and other stakeholders.
  10. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
