Salary:$16.20 - $23.50 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team. As a member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in preparing scratch-made meals using seasonal, local, and responsibly sourced ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing the food service area, including dishwashing, sweeping, and mopping, as well as other utility tasks.
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery at times, ensuring that food is served at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
- Follow HACCP guidelines for correct food handling and production.
- Properly store foods in designated areas, adhering to corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work effectively with colleagues, customers, administrators, and managers to maintain good working relationships.
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Food service and customer service experience preferred.
- Working papers required if under 18 years of age.
- Able to follow instructions and read/write English at a minimum 6th-grade level.
