The Admissions Coordinator Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing, processing, and overseeing all admissions to our Substance Use Disorder Treatment facilities. This position involves collaborating with various community partners and managing referrals, ensuring that intakes align with our census objectives, and performing liaison duties related to services.
We offer a flexible work environment with a standardized 36-hour work week.
- Annual salary ranges from $52,000 to $60,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates effective leadership and embodies key behavioral principles for all direct reports through regular team and individual meetings, consistent application of management practices, and timely reporting of employee achievements and challenges.
- Oversees daily admissions operations, collaborating with the Admissions Manager and other department leaders to ensure timely processing.
- Acts as a liaison between First Step House and funding providers, the public, external agencies, and potential clients.
- Engages in proactive outreach to both existing and new referral sources to facilitate intake to our services. Provides accurate information regarding wait times, clinical offerings, and costs. Processes referrals from various sources and coordinates inter-agency communications.
- Monitors and manages census data for substance use disorder treatment, including waitlists and referrals.
- Maintains a communication log for referrals and oversees waitlists based on funding sources and service capacity.
- Prepares prospective clients for admission and intake into our residential facilities, coordinating schedules with operations staff and clients or their representatives.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (2 years of experience for each year of education) with some background in substance abuse.
- At least 2 years of experience in admissions, administrative, or clinical roles.
- Experience in the mental health sector is preferred.
