About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at Georgia Tech. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing fitness programs for the Georgia Tech community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fitness instruction to students, faculty, and staff via group fitness classes, instructional classes, or personal training.
  • Organize and oversee the daily operations of assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring functions are consistent with policy.
  • Monitor program results, take corrective actions, or implement enhancements as needed.
  • Attend all meetings and mandatory in-service trainings.
  • Participate in Georgia Tech and Campus Recreation special events, as needed.
  • Sub classes and/or fitness sessions, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma and up to two years of job-related experience. The ideal candidate will have skills as applied within a large recreational facility, coupled with specialized knowledge in the area of responsibility.
