We are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at BlueTriton Brands. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on our fleet vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles and equipment, including gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, forklifts, tankers, and trailers.
- Assist in educating Route Sales Representatives on pre and post-trip inspections.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors.
- Maintain parts inventory and budget.
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience in commercial fleet repair (gas, diesel, or propane accepted).
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to handle physical requirements, including repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds in all work conditions (indoor and outdoor).
- The ability to obtain a CDL B license (with airbrake endorsement) within a specified period of time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
