Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Delphinus Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance, with a focus on shipboard electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, and maintain electrical systems on naval vessels, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, and communication systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs and plans, including wiring diagrams and circuit sketches.
  • Supervise and direct a small installation team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance, with a focus on shipboard electrical systems.
  • Advanced experience with electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit testers.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
