We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital. As a Med Surg Ortho PRN Tier II Days Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or next level of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
