Job Opportunity at KidZone Learning Center

KidZone Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Childcare Cook/Breaker. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement the Teaching Strategies Gold curriculum and promote STEM projects, hands-on experiences, and social-emotional learning.
  • Develop and maintain a tidy classroom environment and participate in regular center cleaning responsibilities.
  • Engage in classroom meal times and assist with wellness checks, first aid, and other essential tasks.
  • Document incidents, accidents, and other mandatory records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education (ECE) education preferred.
  • Childcare experience and STARS Basic 30 certification are essential.
  • First Aid/CPR Infant/Child, Food Handlers, Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV, and TB Test clearance are required.
  • Valid ID or driver's license and negative TB test are necessary.
Desired Skills:
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a group of children without an assistant.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Self-motivated and independent, with a proven ability to engage, inspire, and collaborate with colleagues.
