Trilliant Food and Nutrition, a leading manufacturer of specialty coffee, is seeking a highly skilled Plant Sanitation Manager to join our team in Neenah, WI. Our state-of-the-art facility has been a pioneer in the U.S. coffee market since 1979, and we're committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Job Summary

The Plant Sanitation Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of our sanitation and water resource program throughout the manufacturing plant. This role requires a strong understanding of sanitation requirements, water treatment, and quality systems. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the entire plant, including receiving, production, sterilization, and packaging departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sanitation programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of water treatment systems, including RO water treatment.
  • Assign duties to sanitation and production staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to sanitation protocols.
  • Develop and maintain sanitation databases and records, generating daily reports as needed.
  • Manage the sanitation staff, including hiring, employee development, and performance management.
  • Provide training and leadership to personnel performing sanitation procedures and chemical handling.
  • Coordinate corrective action/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address sanitation-related issues.
  • Develop and manage the department's chemical budget, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a focus on sanitation and quality assurance.
  • High school diploma required; higher education preferred.
  • Certified Sanitarian or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, Microbiology, Sanitation, Chemical Safety, Pest Control, and Quality systems.
  • Ability to motivate staff about the importance of quality and sanitation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer operations/Microsoft Office.
