Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Cardiac Sonography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiovascular procedures in accordance with hospital policies. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient diagnostic processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting diagnostic tests such as Adult Echocardiograms and stress testing.
- Upholding professional standards and pursuing continuous education.
- Providing care across all age groups, from neonates to seniors.
- Embodying the organization's values and adhering to the Code of Conduct.
- Delivering excellent service in every patient interaction.
- Taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Participating in on-call duties to ensure continuous echocardiography services.
- Contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Engaging in unit activities and fulfilling educational requirements.
Education:
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
- Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Sonographer is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification.
- Preferred: Registered Vascular Technologist certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
