Job Responsibilities

As a Cardiac Sonography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiovascular procedures in accordance with hospital policies. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient diagnostic processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting diagnostic tests such as Adult Echocardiograms and stress testing.
  • Upholding professional standards and pursuing continuous education.
  • Providing care across all age groups, from neonates to seniors.
  • Embodying the organization's values and adhering to the Code of Conduct.
  • Delivering excellent service in every patient interaction.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Participating in on-call duties to ensure continuous echocardiography services.
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Engaging in unit activities and fulfilling educational requirements.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate Degree in a relevant field.
  • Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Sonographer is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification.
  • Preferred: Registered Vascular Technologist certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
